Our Story
It started with an 8-year-old at an entrepreneur workshop who needed something to sell. Lucky for her, Dad had just started keeping bees in our backyard — inspired by her grandfather, who loved nature and was always trying something new.
So Angry Bees was born. Her little sister joined the team, and the two of them started showing up at markets and fairs — selling honey, handmade soaps, and beeswax lip balms. That was 8 years ago, and every year since, we've sold out.
We harvest multiple times throughout the season, and each harvest tastes different. Early spring brings light, floral honey. By late summer, goldenrod and milkweed give it a richer, deeper flavour. Some customers wait all year for a specific harvest.
We're not a factory — we're a family with backyard hives and a deep love for what our bees make. Every jar is small-batch, Ontario-grown, and made with heart. 🍯
