Honeycomb is like...fancy gum. It is honey that is still contained in its original honeycomb and can be eaten as-is. You can eat it as is, or spread on toast, serve with crackers...or as most kids: chew it like gum and enjoy the delicious honey.
Honeycomb is exactly what the bees make in their hives. While honey has to be extracted from the wax, the only thing done to honeycomb is..a knife. It's cut to fit in a box. This is sold in extremely limited quantities, as we only cut a frame at a time (which makes about 5-6 honeycombs) when we harvest, which is every couple of weeks in August-September. Your honeycomb will be delivered 3-4 days after harvest.
Weight is between 375g - 400g, depending how full the cells are. The honeycomb is all the same size (we use a special cutter).
